I remember when I was a kid bringing home every stray that crossed my path.  I would find wounded birds and do my very best to nurse them back to health.  Summers at an island in the San Juans where there were chickens, goats, sheep, cows, horses, wild deer and eagles soaring overhead .. I was in heaven.  Throughout my life I’ve been an avid aquarium hobbyist.  I’ve kept a variety of birds including Parakeets, Lovebirds and a Conure that I rescued from an extremely bad situation.  At one point I owned a Burmese Python and four ferrets.  I love all animals.

In learning Reiki it was incredibly important to me to learn how to use this healing energy to help animals.  Our pets are our children and cherished family members.  There is nothing more disheartening when our beloved pets are hurting or have ailments that we can’t do anything but what our trusted veterinarian tells us to do. But there is something more that we can do, we can offer them Reiki:
